It’s World Vegan Month and Liverpool’s vegan offering is bursting at the seams with flavour and vibrancy. We’re spoilt for choice but luckily enough we were able to pin down 3 of our favourite places for you to visit that offer different types of vegan cuisine – you will not be disappointed!
Located on Bixteth Street Corner, Sanskruti’s meals are created with the belief that Indian food is not only about heat but also about that perfect marriage of aromatic herbs and spices. Their menu is as diverse and colourful as the continent itself with a pure vegetarian & vegan restaurant. With a promise to providing the best quality in food you can rest assured they’ll spice up your life!
The Art School –
Chosen as one of the top 5 Chic Vegan Restaurants in the UK by Veganlifemag.com, The Art School on Sugnall Street is a must try. Bring along your friends and family as they cater for vegetarians and meat eaters too! Paul Askew, Director Chef of Hope Street Hotel and The London Carriage Works Restaurant opened The Art School Restaurant as a high end, 50 cover fine dine restaurant and bar. Their festive menus (vegan menu included) are perfect for a get together this Christmas!
Simply described as ; ‘ Small plates & cocktails in the heart of the Liverpool Ropewalks. Seasonal, subtle, sophisticated.’ Maray, with its first location on Bold St, has recently opened a second restaurant on Allerton Road and it’s all down to their massive popularity. Maray’s offering is varied & created for sharing. Among their popular every day menu is their new vegan feature which has received an incredible response from Vegans throughout the city.
We hope this has offered Vegan’s an insight into the diverse & delicious culinary talent that Liverpool has to offer!
